COVID-19 Help

I’m so glad you’re here. If you found me from my interview with FOX 17 West Michigan news or your professional, personal or social media network, I hope I can offer you some timely resources.

My therapy practice is focused on assisting those who have experienced trauma. I use a specific technique (somatic psychotherapy) in sessions that uses the physical body to assist in healing. You can read more about my approach in the FAQs.

  • If you’re interested in scheduling a session with me, use the contact form here; I will get in touch with you quickly. You can find more about my specialized approach to therapy here or in the FAQs.
  • If you’re experiencing stress related to COVID-19, there is a FREE support group available to you, facilitated by a licensed therapist. I recommend it highly. You can find out more and register here.
  • If you’d like to consult with me on serving your frontline team of workers through group therapy or workshops, contact me here.
  • You can find a simple but highly effective trauma prevention tool here. It’s a way to digest any emotional pain you’re experiencing and thus prevent any long-lasting emotional and physical consequences. The exercise is called “Circle of Support,” and you can find my intro video (90 seconds) here and my step-by-step video guide (3 minutes) here. There are also supplemental PDFs to use here.
  • Valuable resources on caring for yourself amid COVID-19:

    • An article on grief and the coronavirus.
    • A podcast with Peter Levine on COVID-19. (Start at minute 4 for ideas on how to support yourself during this time.)
